Friar Alum and Harvard Grad Gillian Hess

Friar Alum Gillian Hess will be graduating from Harvard Class of 2018 this year. Her thesis entitled “Race Against Time: The Impact of the Black Lives Matter Movement on Transracial Child Adoption” has received a grade of Magnus Plus and thus, she has been recommended for a degree in economics with High Honors. She has also received the Morris Kronfeld Prize, which constitutes 1 of 4 annual awards for thesis writers who demonstrated outstanding performance in the Economics Department. We are incredibly proud of all of Gillian’s accomplishments!!!
