Instrumental Arts Summary
The St. Anthony’s High School Instrumental Program consists of many varied ensembles performing a wide range of repertoire, from “Bach to Broadway”. Comprised of the Orchestra, Symphonic Band, Concert Band, Jazz Band, Percussion Ensemble, and the Bagpipers and Highland Drummers; the concerts and pilgrimage tours offer a fantastic voyage through the classical, contemporary, folk, and jazz mediums.
All ensembles are considered academic classes and either meet during the school day or after school. Many students take private lessons, and advanced students also participate in NYSSMA, All-County, and All-State.
