Mr. Robert Arrigo

Mr. Robert Arrigo is the Assistant Principal, Dean of Men and the Afterschool Building Supervisor. He studied at St. Joseph’s College in Patchogue, New York where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in History/Secondary Education in 1999. After spending two years working in a school for girls with severe learning disabilities and emotional problems, he came to Saint Anthony’s to teach American History and Government in 2001. In 2003, he earned a Master’s of Science in Educational Technology from the State University of New York at Stony Brook, followed by the Advanced Graduate Certificate in School Building Administration and School District Administration in the year 2009. Mr. Arrigo was soon thereafter appointed to be chairman of the History Department in 2010.

For seven years, Mr. Arrigo coached girl’s junior varsity softball and varsity volleyball before taking on the role as the After School Building Supervisor, where he still continues to roam the halls. During the summer months, he works as the director for the academic camps, providing enrichment and academic support for students preparing to enter the school. He was the Assistant Coordinator of the Middle States Accreditation Evaluation. In addition to his responsibilities at Saint Anthony’s High School, Mr. Arrigo formerly worked for 15 years as an amateur baseball umpire, working in more than 1000 games in his career.
