Saint Anthony’s goes Lavender

Code Lavender is an organization in Stony Brook Hospital run by doctors, nurses, and hospital staff which provides emotional support for any hospital worker dealing with the emotional stress and trauma of the job. St. Anthony’s Engineering students have been working with Code Lavender to create tangible objects that the Code Lavender Team will be able to give those in need as a positive reminder that they are not alone. Dr. Megan Lochner and Nurse Maggie Nuccio visited the St. Anthony’s Innovation Center where they learned about the design and fabrication process and were presented with custom coins and pins that were designed and fabricated by St Anthony’s students.
