March for Life

On Friday January 20, students from our Theology Department, along with the Right to Life Club, participated in the March for Life at St. Agnes Cathedral in Rockville Centre. Here they joined other students from around Long Island to pray and publicly intercede on behalf of the unborn, their parents, families, our communities, our nation and its leaders – that this prayerful presence may open hearts, minds, souls to the fullness of the Gospel of Life in our lives and laws.

Protecting Life from Womb to Tomb

Each January, under the leadership of Mrs. Laura Domanico, students from Saint Anthony’s travel on an overnight pilgrimage to Washington, D.C. to participate in the annual March for Life. The overnight includes Holy Mass, as well as other prayer services and vigils. The trip culminates in marching with the thousands of other Catholics in attendance past the Supreme Court to promote the sanctity of every human life.
