Dr. Christina D. Buehler
Dr. Christina Buehler, ’90, graduated from Saint Anselm College in New Hampshire in 1994 with a BA in French and a minor in German. She came to Saint Anthony’s to teach French and Latin in 1994. In 1996 Dr. Buehler earned her MA in French from Middlebury College in Vermont, where she spent several summers participating in their intensive language program. During her tenure at Saint Anthony’s, Dr. Buehler coached Varsity Kickline for seven years, moderated the Foreign Language Club, provided choreography for several Spring Musicals, and has chaperoned dozens of trips, including the Chorus and Band Concert Pilgrimage Tours to Europe.
Dr. Buehler began advising the school’s yearbook, the Anthonian, in 2002, and continues to do so today. Dr. Buehler was appointed as Director of Public Relations in 2007 and currently serves in that position as well. From 2009-2013 Dr. Buehler served as the Internal Coordinator for the Middle States Evaluation, and spearheaded the successful Reaccreditation process in 2010. She was also appointed Acting Chairperson of the Foreign Language Department from 2012-2013.
In 2011, Dr. Buehler earned her doctorate in French literature from the CUNY Graduate Center in Manhattan. Â Her current position is Assistant Principal, Dean of Women. She is honored to serve her alma mater in this capacity, and looks forward to working with future generations of Saint Anthony’s students.
