Students Registration is not complete until they have completed 2 steps. One can be done without completing the other – it does not matter what order they are done in. They do not need to be done at the same time/day.
The Items Needed to be completed are:
Payment for Each Exam In Course Schedule
AND
JOIN College Board’s AP Resource Classroom with a join code given by Classroom Teachers the first week of school. (This is NOT GOOGLE CLASSROOM – PLEASE HAVE STUDENT LOG INTO THEIR COLLEGE BOARD ACCOUNTS AND CHECK THERE “MY AP” Classes ENROLLED IN PRIOR TO DEADLINE TO AVOID PENALTY FEE. ONCE THEY JOIN, THEY SHOULD SEE ONE FOR EACH CLASS IN THEIR SCHEDULE)
As A reminder:
- The Advanced Placement Examination, taken in May, is a requirement of every AP course.
- Please mark the dates of exams now and please do not schedule appointments or trips for your child during this time. This includes exams scheduled for May 9 and May 10, 2024.
- Due to the volume of students enrolled in AP classes, St. Anthony’s High School does not provide make up exams unless a student has two AP Exams scheduled on the same date at the same time. In the event that this occurs for a student, it will be at the discretion of St. Anthony’s AP Coordinator as to which of the two exams will be scheduled for the makeup date/time.
- Every student in an AP Class MUST join College Board’s AP Resource Classroom with a join code provided by their teacher. This is required for EACH AP Course in their course schedule. Students who fail to join by 11/1/2023 will be subject to a $45 late fee, per class not joined by this date, imposed by the AP College Board, even if exam fees were paid on time. This is due to exam ordering process designed by the College Board.
- Students who would like to take an AP Exam for a course in which they are currently not enrolled in, will be registered under an Exam Only section created by the AP Coordinator. Students enrolled in an Exam Only, will not have access to AP Classroom resources and practice questions. They will have access to the AP Daily. This is an AP College Board Decision. Deadlines/Payments for Exam Only are the same as they are for students currently enrolled in an AP Class. Students for Exam Only must receive a Join Code from the AP Coordinator by 11/1/2023 to avoid penalty. Please note no exams will be ordered, even with a late fee, after March 1 11:59 PM EST.
