Brother David Migliorino,O.S.F.
Principal
In speaking to the faculty, Brother David noted his special devotion to Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton and how her mantra of “Be children of the Church” is so critical to him as an educator and administrator in Catholic Schools. “l believe every child deserves to be educated not just academically but spiritually and socially teachers have the responsibility to make our future the best by giving all the tools to their students.” Brother David also shared his thoughts on how it is “the lost child” who often needs extra special guidance and attention. “St. Anthony is the patron of the Lost and Found, so we all must reach out and find that lost child and allow them to grow.””
Mr. Paul Washington
Dean of Academics, Director Of Studies
Mr. Paul Washington is the Dean of Academics and Director of Studies. He is a St. Anthony’s alumnus of the Class of 1999. He graduated from the College of the Holy Cross in 2003 with a BA in Economics and History, and earned his Masters in Education with concentrations in Social Studies and Special Education from Molloy College in 2009.
Brother Joshua DiMauro,O.S.F.
Assistant Principal, Student Activities
Brother Joshua DiMauro is the Assistant Principal, the Dean of Student Activities, as well as the Chorus Director, a position he began in 1982. Brother Joshua completed undergraduate studies in Education at St. Francis College(Brooklyn, NY) while also pursuing musical studies at Hunter College(NY) and received his Masters Degree in Music from the University of Notre Dame(Indiana).
Mr. Robert Arrigo
Assistant Principal, Dean of Men
Mr. Robert Arrigo is the Assistant Principal, Dean of Men and the Afterschool Building Supervisor. He studied at St. Joseph’s College in Patchogue, New York where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in History/Secondary Education in 1999. After spending two years working in a school for girls with severe learning disabilities and emotional problems, he came to Saint Anthony’s to teach American History and Government in 2001.
Dr. Christina Buehler
Assistant Principal, Dean of Women
Dr. Christina Buehler, ’90, graduated from Saint Anselm College in New Hampshire in 1994 with a BA in French and a minor in German. She came to Saint Anthony’s to teach French and Latin in 1994. In 1996 Dr. Buehler earned her MA in French from Middlebury College in Vermont, where she spent several summers participating in their intensive language program. During her tenure at Saint Anthony’s, Dr. Buehler coached Varsity Kickline for seven years, moderated the Foreign Language Club, provided choreography for several Spring Musicals, and has chaperoned dozens of trips, including the Chorus and Band Concert Pilgrimage Tours to Europe.
