C.A.R.E. (Caring Adolescents Reaching the Elderly) is a service organization in which club members visit with residents of Our Lady of Consolation Nursing Home in West Islip. Throughout the school year, seasonally themed parties provide CARE members and residents with the opportunity to participate in activities like “Name That Tune”, BINGO, and other party games. Most importantly, there is great conversation shared across generations during the visits.
